The Norseman ski club went to Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park in B.C. from March 19 to 23, 2003.

Staying at the Naiset Huts were: Larry & Karen Fisher, Rod & Liz Elder, Steve and Joanne Riggs, Barb Davies, Brian Deschene, Roy Scarisbrick, Carol Guthrie. There were ten more Norseman that were staying at the Assiniboine Lodge.

 

 

Day 1 Destination - Mt. Assiniboine

 

We flew out of the Mount Shark helipad.

This is Fleabane Hut where 6 of us slept and all 10 of us ate dinners together. The other 4 stayed in the Jones Cabin.

After getting settled in we headed to Wonder Pass for a quick ski.

Thanks to Steve for having a birthday as we all got to enjoy a piece of Liz's cake. Yummy.

 
Day 2 Destination - O'Briens

Today's destination- O'Briens. Roy leads the way.

Back at the hut and chowing down. Although it looks bright in the hut, without headlamps we couldn't see what we were eating for dinner.
