back to Skiing

Not only did we have a great turn our for Presidents Day, but we had fabulous conditions as well. The day started with lightly falling snow on top of a fresh snow base which made for great skiing. The games were lots of fun and provided great entertainment for those who cheered on the participants. While the games were taking place our President, Lloyd Eriksson, and his helpers were setting up and preparing lunch for the hungry skiers. By the time we sat down for our feast the clouds had cleared away and we had lovely sunshine for the remainder of the day.

While the teams were racing and the crowds were cheering.....
our President and his faithful crew were kindly preparing lunch for the hungry mob.

Sue swept off all the lunch tables while.....

....well, we're not really sure what Sigrun is doing, but I'm sure she
was helpful. In fact we know she was as she prepared all
the wonderful chili. And yummy it was....

Gord and Brian seem to have found another use for an avalanche
shovel. That's right boys, just shovel that gluwein in.

Brian stands guard watch over the chili pots.

Both Gord and Barb were also key contributors to preparing our lunch for us.
