Loading the ferry at Friday Harbour on route to Lopez Island.

The US ferry workers were on strike so we couldn't even get
a cup of coffee on route.

Shaw Island Harbour.

The ferry dock is run by the nuns on Shaw Island.

Some sort of old factory or storage shed on Lopez.
As always, we hit the first coffee shop and bakery in town.

After leaving Lopez village we started making our way over towards Mackaye Harbour and Agate Cove.

We stopped at Shark Reef to enjoy the views.

Yes it's that time again. Feeding time.

Stunning views from Shark Reef area.

Another lunch break at Agate Cove. Ursula and Vic check the map for our next destination.

We had time to make a detour into Spencer Spit.

Beautiful driftwood sculptures along Swift Bay.
If it wasn't a private beach it would have been a
great place to relax for a wee bit.

Last stop, Odlin Beach.

Lopez Island seemed to be a favourite amongst the group. Very quiet, relaxing, and no traffic.

DAY 8 We took the ferry back to Sydney where we went our separate ways.

Vic and Ursula are loading up the truck and heading to catch the ferry back to
Vancouver to start their drive home. The rest of us rode back into Victoria
where we each had our own plans.
Ain't he cute. A local landmark on the cycle path to Victoria.

Spin to Day 8: Butchart Gardens
